Wednesday
A misty, damp morning over much of England and Wales. Low cloud over the hills. More persistent rain could affect central and northern England. Drier and misty in the southeast, but some drizzle here later. Brighter in northern and western Scotland as well as Scotland and feeling cooler here. This brighter weather drifting south through the afternoon to be into northern England, Wales and southwest England. A fine afternoon is Ireland with lots of sunshine, but feeling cooler. Highs at around 7C in many parts of Scotland, northern England, the western Midlands, Wales, southwest England and Ireland, milder at 13C in East Anglia and southern England.


Wednesday night
Cloud and some patchy rain and drizzle affecting the southeast of England tonight. Turning cooler elsewhere with the risk of some showers affecting northern and eastern Scotland. A few showers could affect northern coasts of Wales too. Elsewhere it should be dry with some clearer skies. Lows near 2 to 6C.
 


Thursday
A weak front over the far south of England on Thursday. This is going to be bringing cloud and some drizzle here. Elsewhere it will be misty and murky with some fog in places, this lasting all day in some areas. Where it does clear a few brighter spells will be breaking through. Scotland and Ireland should be drier and generally brighter, although again some mist or fog patches in places. Tops near 5 to 9C.


Friday
High pressure remains over the UK on Friday, centred to the east. There may be a morning frost with mist and fog for many. A rather murky day across many parts of England and Wales. There is a risk of drizzle and light rain in East Anglia central and southeast England. Some sunshine in central areas. Highs at 5 to 8C.
