Tuesday
Another rather grey day on Tuesday with lots of cloud for most areas. There may be an odd brighter spell here and there, but likewise the threat of some patchy drizzle , mostly over hills. A few morning mist and fog patches. Brighter weather may affect eastern Scotland anf the far northwest of England. Thicker cloud with a weak front close to northwest Scotland bringing some outbreaks of rain here. Highs at 6 to 9C.


Tuesday Night
Plenty of cloud again through tonight across southern parts of the UK and Ireland. A few mist or fog patches in the Midlands, southern England, Wales and southern Ireland. An increased breeze in northern England and Northern Ireland allowing for a few clear spells here. Thicker cloud in Scotland with a stiff westerly breeze and some drizzle in the north and west. Lows at 0 to 3C.


Wednesday
Some morning mist and fog patches as well as lots of cloud in the morning across England and Wales. This will be lifting as the breeze increases to leave a dry afternoon with some bright or sunny spells. Becoming windy in northern England and Northern Ireland during the day with cloud increasing here after some brightness in the morning.The winds and cloud increasing in Scotland too with gales by evening and rain in the north and west. Highs at 9C in northern Scotland, nearer a cooler 6 to 8C elsewhere.


Thursday
A cool day with a ridge of high pressure building as a weak cold front clears south. This brings soe showery rain in the far south at first, but brighter weather will be following from the north. Some showers affecting the coasts of Scotland as well as parts of eastern England. Most other areas will be drier and brighter with some good spells of sunshine. Highs at 7 to 10C.
