Monday
Monday morning starts cold with a strong northwest wind for many. It will be bright though with some good spells of sunshine. Showers may affect northern and western coasts and hills but most areas will be dry. The wind tends to eas in the afternoon with most areas dry and bright with further sunny spells. However, cloud increases through Scotland and Ireland bringing some patchy rain and drizzle to Northern Ireland and western Scotland later, a few spots of drizzle over the hills of Wales too. Temperatures at 3 to 6C for most, becoming milder in Ireland at 8C.

Monday Night
A cloudy night but a mild one. It is going to be breezy too with gales in northern Scotland. Drizzle affecting many northern and western areas with some more persistent rain in northwest Scotland. Bts of rain and drizzle passing east through the rest of the British Isles during the night. Lows around 4 to 7C.
 

Tuesday
A breezy day on Tuesday with plenty of cloud. There will be some patchy outbreaks of rain affecting southern England, Wales and Ireland with low cloud and drizzle over hills here too. It is likely to be brighter and drier in northern England and Scotland although windy here. Increasing cloud again over western coasts in the afternoon with some drizzle in the Midlands and northern England later. Heavier showers and then rain or sleet in Shetland and Orkney. Highs at 8 to 13C.

Wednesday
A warm front is going to be clearing east on Wednesday leaving behind lots of moist and mild air. There will be plenty of cloud across most parts of the UK and Ireland, some drizzle and low cloud shrouding western coasts and hills. More persistent rain affecting the western coasts and hills of Scotland. A few bright spells may break through the cloud, most of these in more eastern areas. Highs at a very mild 9 to 13C.
