Rain tonight

Wednesday
A breezy day for Scotland and Ireland. Rather cloudy here with the risk of some spots of rain on western coasts and hills. Drier elsewhere with some sunny spells, although cloud tending to increase in southeast England. A risk of morning fog in central and southern England, this slowly clearing. Outbreaks of rain will develop in the southeast through this afternoon and these are likely to become more persistent into this evening. Some bright or sunny spells in other areas. A cool feel to the day with temperatures at 12 to 14C.


Wednesday Night
Wet for a time tonight in the eastern Midlands, southern England and East Anglia. A jurky, misty end to the night too. A further band of rain cross northern England, southern and western Scotland, Wales and western England. Heavy showers follow to western Scotland, with drier weather into Ireland. Lows at 7 to 12C.
 


Thursday
Low pressure west of Sciotland on Thiurdsday will be bringing cloud and bands of rain across muh of England and Wales. Brighter for Scotland and Imreland, but some heavy showers in the west and rather windy here too. Turnig brighter in western England and Wales as the day progresses. Colder weather reaching Scotland and Ireland with highs at 9C here, but nerarer 14C in southeast England.


Friday
Heavy rain affecting southern Ireland, Wales and western England on Friday, this moving eastwards during the afternoon and evening. Local flooding could occur in the west. Increasingly windy. Drier in the east at first, but the winds increasing later as rain arrives. Brighter and colder for northern England, Scotland and Northern Ireland with heavy showers in northern and western Scotland. Highs at 7 to 9C for amny, but 14C in southern England.
