Showers affecting many western and southern areas through Wednesday. The showers could merge into longer spells of rain at times, especially over western Scotland, Western Wales and the southern coast of England. Further east there will be some bright spells although showers are likely especially in the Midlands and East Anglia. Heavy showers affecting Western Ireland but few showers in the east. Another cool day in that brisk westerly wind with temperatures between 8 and 15°C.

Wednesday Night
More showers affecting western parts of Scotland and Island overnight. Further showers for western Wales and western coasts of England as well. Inland areas should become dry with clear skies developing. As winds for light there will be some mist patches in more rule areas by morning. A cool night with temperatures between 4 and 8°C.
 

Thursday
Broken cloud and some showers affecting western parts of the UK on Thursday morning. Fronts bring rain into western parts of Ireland early on, and this will then spread eastwards through the morning and into Scotland, northern England, Wales and West of England through the afternoon. Winds increasing in the west to as the road becomes heavier. It may stay dry in East Anglia and south-east England until the evening. Cool day with temperatures at 9°C to 15°C.

Friday
A band of rain associated with a slow-moving front will be aligned through southern Ireland, Southwest England, Wales, the Midlands and East Anglia through Friday. The heaviest of the rain affecting western coasts and hills. Some brighter skies in southern England, but cloud on southern coasts. Brighter across northern England, Scotland and Ireland which showers in places, mostly in the west where they will be heavy. Feeling mild in southern England but much colder further north. High temperatures at 16°C in any brightness over southern England, but just 8°C in northern Scotland.
