A band of showery, sometimes heavy, rain spreads from west to east across the UK and Ireland as low pressure is centred to the northwest. Strong winds, potentially gales, affecting northern and western areas. Sunny spells and showers follow behind the rain to the west. The far southeast likely to stay dry until the late afternoon. High temperatures at 11 to 15C.
 


Monday Night
Showers affecting northwestern areas and western coasts and hills through the night from Monday into Sunday. Drier to the east. Cloudier skies to the north with clearer skies for southern and eastern areas. A breezy night with overnight lows falling to 8 to 12C.

 
 
 


Tuesday
Low pressure remains northwest of Scotland on Tuesday bringing another mixed day with outbreaks of rain, showers and sunny spells. Rain will be heavy at times. Winds stay strong across the country. High temperatures around average at 11 to 17C.

 
 
 


Wednesday
An area of low pressure is expected to be to the north of Scotland on Wednesday. A mix of sunshine and showers for all parts of the UK and Ireland. The showers heaviest and most frequent in the west. Drier to the east. Breezy with highs at 10 to 15C.
