Tuesday
A day of sunshine and showers for most on Tuesday. The best of any sunshine is likely across more eastern and southern parts of the country during the morning. Showers will be affecting western areas throughout the day, and these will become heavy and prolonged across western Scotland and western parts of Ireland. Gales affect scotland, Northern Ireland and parts of northern England. A cool day particularly across northern and western areas with temperatures at between 11 and 13°C, but slightly milder to the eastern side at 15°C.


Tuesday Night
Breezy night ahead with further showers in the west. More prolonged rain affecting western Scotland with an area of rain also affecting Southwest England. Central and eastern areas of England and Scotland should be drier, as will be central and eastern Ireland. Gailes again affecting northern England, Scotland and Northern Ireland. Temperatures will fall to between 5 and 10°C.


Wednesday
Low pressure will be centred north of Scotland on Wednesday. Another breezy day is expected and it will be feeling cool for all. Showers, sometimes heavy and frequent will affect many parts of the country, mostly in the north and west West sun will merge to longer spells of rain with the risk of thunder. The best of any brightness in more eastern and southern areas although even here there will be showers. Temperatures at 10°C in northern Scotland and 15°C in south-east England.


Thursday
Another mixed morning on Thursday with a mix of sunshine and showers affecting many western areas. Eastern parts should be drier and brighter. During the day fronts will cross Ireland and move into the western parts of the UK bringing rain with them and also some low clouds and fog affecting western coasts and hills. Temperatures rising to around 11 to 16°C.
