Morning Call - June 24, 2018
Dry For Many
Warm or Very Warm

Issued: 0530hrs Sunday 24th June 2018
Duty forecaster: Matthew Hugo

High pressure continues to build into the UK maintaining fine and settled conditions across many areas but still rather cool.

Good morning,

It's a cool start to the day across many inland areas, especially in the countryside but many areas are dry with bright or sunny spells. Further sunny spells are forecast through the rest of the morning but cloudier periods will also develop.

Through the afternoon and no significant changes are forecast with some further bright or sunny spells for many areas and perhaps with a greater risk of more prolonged spells of sunshine developing more widely than compared with Saturday and with light winds this will lead to a warm or very warm afternoon for many inland areas.

Into Sunday evening and after a very pleasant end to the day the night ahead will be dry with clear spells and some variable cloud. Another cool night across the countryside, but temperatures not falling as low as previous nights.
