Morning Call - June 08, 2018
Warm or Very Warm
Isolated Heavy Showers

Issued: 0530hrs Friday 8th June 2018
Duty forecaster: Matthew Hugo

There will continue to be plenty of warm sunshine on Friday but with still a risk of some isolated heavy and thundery showers too.

Good morning,

It's a mainly dry start to Friday with some bright or sunny spells, especially across more northern and western areas, but a few showers are present across more southern areas of England. Plenty of dry weather will be maintained through the rest of the morning with variable cloud and bright or sunny spells, soon becoming warm as well by late morning onwards.

Through the afternoon and a scattering of locally heavy showers are possible across more central and southern areas of England and perhaps southern areas of Wales too, may be the isolated thunderstorms. More northern areas will remain dry with bright or sunny spells, especially across Scotland. Many areas warm or very warm.

Evening showers will slowly ease away and then many areas becoming mainly dry into Friday evening and overnight in to Saturday with clear spells and variable cloud. Some mist and fog patches may be possible mind, especially where there has been any showers during the day.
