Morning Call - June 18, 2018
Cloudier, damp west
Dry in the east

Issued: 0530hrs Monday 18th June 2018
Duty forecaster: Simon Keeling

Cloudy in the west with some patchy rain, but drier in the east and brighter too

Good morning,

A tendency for a fair amount of cloud to affect the country today. The focus for the cloud through more northern parts of England, Scotland, west wales and western Scotland as well as southwest England. Rather a breezy morning too. There will be some bits of rain around, mostly in the cloudier areas as described above and generally on the hills. Ireland is likely to be cloudy too with some showers rain in the north and west, this reaching eastern areas after having been dry here at first.

Tending to stay rather cloudy in the west throughout the day with the rain continuing on and off. Eastern areas will be brighter and drier.
