Morning Call - June 19, 2018
Mainly Dry At First
Wet From the West Later

Issued: 0530hrs Tuesday 19th June 2018
Duty forecaster: Matthew Hugo

Mainly dry for England and Wales, turning wet and windier further north and west later in the day.

Good morning,

It's a mainly dry start to Tuesday and its a cool and fresh start too, especially in the countryside. Much of Tuesday morning though will be mainly dry with some bright or sunny spells, especially across England and Wales and despite the fresh feel to the weather it will become pleasantly warm.

Through the afternoon and England and Wales should remain mainly dry with some bright or sunny spells despite increasing cloud from the west. Scotland and Ireland though will become far more unsettled, from the west, with a fresh SW'ly wind developing along with some widespread light or moderate, locally heavy rain.

Wet and rather windy conditions will dominate the weather through Tuesday evening and overnight across much of N England, Scotland and Ireland with further heavy rain at times as well. Far southern and south-eastern areas of England should remain mainly dry but mostly cloudy and very mild here too, cooler in the north

Matthew
