Mostly fair with sunny spells, the best of them to the west with showers in the southeast

Good morning,

Today is set to be another fair day across most of the country. There will be broken cloud with some sunny spells, the best of these in the west of the country. Eastern coasts are likely to be feeling cool because of the onshore breeze. A risk of some thundery showers clipping southeast England this afternoon. A further risk of some showers in the far west of Ireland this afternoon, although eastern areas of Ireland are likely to be staying dry.

This evening and overnight is likely to be staying dry with broken cloud. There is the risk of some showers affecting the far south of England. Western parts of Scotland, England and Wales are likely to be seeing some reasonable bright or sunny spells.
