A windy and blustery day with rain then showers for many

Good morning,

Plenty of cloud about with outbreaks of rain across northern and central areas of the UK to start the day. Much of the more persistent rainfall will soon clear to see sunny spells developing but also blustery showers.

Southern England staying largely dry with the best of the lasting sunshine. Breezy but not as windy as the north.

A warm and muggy day for many with highs into the low 20s across Scotland, the high 20s across southern areas of England.

Overnight, staying windy in the north with frequent showers as well as outbreaks of rain affecting many parts of Scotland. Blustery showers affecting many western areas elsewhere across the country with some reaching into eastern parts but mostly dry the further east you are. Perhaps longer spells of rain moving in across Wales and the Midlands region later.

Have a good one.

Alexi
