Thunderstorms becoming confined to the far southeast
Good morning,
Heavy showers and thunderstorms will continue to affect parts of England and Wales before becoming confined to southern and southeastern areas of England through the day.
Ireland and Scotland will be drier with sunny spells, these also developing into northern England and Wales through the day. Meanwhile, an Atlantic front approaches the far west of Scotland and Ireland later.
Overnight, outbreaks of rain spread across much of Scotland, Northern Ireland and Ireland eventually into northern England and west Wales by dawn. Thundery showers continue to rumble on across far southeastern areas of England. Mist and fog develop across Wales and central England.
Have a good one.
