Fresher than recently

Sunny spells and dry for most, a fair day and feeling fresher

It's a fair morning across the country. Good spells of sunshine, especially in the southeast. Some showers around northern and western coasts of Scotland, and there is a risk of some isolated showers affecting the west coast of Ireland too. Other areas should be dry.

The afternoon sees little change with sunny spells and mostly dry weather. The best sunshine in eastern and southern areas. Showers around northern and western coasts of Scotland again, as well as western coasts of Ireland. Warm again in the southeast, feeling fresher in other areas in the northwest wind.

Increasing cloud tonight in Scotland and Ireland, although for most skies become clearer. It is going to be dry for most too, although by later in the night some drizzle or light rain may affect the far west of Scotland.
