Mild Monday
Much of this week is looking quite unsettled and quite cold with temperatures below normal. Brisk north to north west winds make it feel much colder. A milder day though across Britain on Monday then wintry showers to affect mainly the west and east at times while central areas will be dry and sunny.

Wednesday 29/11/17 Cold day and feeling colder still in the north wind. Central parts of Britain will be dry with unbroken, crisp, wintry sunshine. A mix of sleet and snow showers may affect western and eastern coasts. These showers linger into the evening and night. A cold, breezy night for England and Wales. Icy patches may be found where showers fell. Expect highs of 3 to 7C.
Thursday 30/11/17 It stays cold with a bitter wind chill factor. Again western and eastern parts may see a number of snow showers down to low levels. Central parts look dry and quite sunny. Less windy and cold by night with icy patches and frost. Rain may reach Northern Ireland and Scotland. Expect highs of 3 to 5C.
Friday 01/12/17 Cold in the south, milder in the north. Rain is expected to spread in across many areas through the day, this may be preceded by snow over the hills. Rain may linger into the night across England and Wales. Less cold by night. Look for highs of 3 to 8C.
Saturday 02/12/17 Breezy with a good deal of cloud and some patchy rain or showers in the west and near North Sea coasts. Sunniest through central areas. Cold and frosty overnight. Expect highs of 6 to 10C.
Sunday 03/12/17 A cold day but with less wind. Some good spells of sunshine for England and Wales and it looks dry. Risk of rain into Scotland later in the day. A widespread frost for England and Wales overnight. Expect highs of 6 to 6C.
Monday 04/12/17 A front spreads heavy rain in across Northern Ireland, Scotland and northern England then later into Wales and the rest of England. A windy day with gales possible in the north west. Look for highs of 5 to 8C.
