Thursday 16/11/17
Windy with temperatures staying above normal, but colder weather returns from the north-west later. A band of rain clears Scotland and gradually moves into England and Wales. This then moves into the south in the evening with colder conditions into Scotland giving wintry showers over the hills. Expect highs of 9 to 12C.

Friday 17/11/17
Friday looks colder and windy with early rain clearing the south east of England. Showers to affect northern and western areas, wintry over the hills of Scotland. Dry, sunny inland. Dry, windy and cold overnight. Look for highs of 6 to 9C.

Saturday 18/11/17
Most areas will be dry and breezy with lots of sunshine, but with showery weather continuing across northern and eastern areas, the showers still wintry across Scottish high ground in particular. CRemainig cold for many areas, overnight frost certainly possible. Expect highs of 5 to 9C.

Sunday 19/11/17
A cold N or NW'ly wind will continue to dmoinate at the moment, bringing further wintry showers to Scotland and perhaps some eastern areas of England too. Otherwise a lot of fine and dry weather is to be expected, especially in-land with overnight frost too. Low risk of some wet weather moving into Ireland later. Highs around 5 to 9C.

Monday 20/11/17
Uncertainties over the details, but a cold and frosty start is likely, perhaps with some further wintry showers in the north-east. Elsewhere another mainly dry day is expected with some bright or sunny spells, low risk of rain still across Ireland and perhaps SW England. Highs around 5 to 9C.

Tuesday 21/11/17
Cold start but with then perhaps wet weather moving north and east through the day, preceding by some sleet and snow on high ground across the north in particular. There is a low risk alternative of colder, drier and sunnier weather being maintained though. Temperatures 6 to 10C.
