Wintry showers Scotland

Much of this week is looking quite unsettled with rain and showers. Colder across Scotland with a risk of wintry showers mainly over the northern hills. Across England and Wales overall temperatures will turn milder after a colder start.

Wednesday 15/11/17
Mild today with above normal temperatures but colder for Scotland. We keep a good deal of cloud across England and Wales with sporadic bits of light rain but dry to the north. It turns very windy into the evening and night with more persistent rain across northern Britain. Expect highs of 7 to 13C.

Thursday 16/11/17
Windy with temperatures staying above normal. A band of rain clears Scotland and gradually moves into England and Wales. This then moves into the south in the evening with colder conditions into Scotland giving wintry showers over the hills. Expect highs of 9 to 12C.
 

Friday 17/11/17
Friday looks colder and windy with early rain clearing the south east of England. Showers to affect northern and western areas, wintry over the hills of Scotland. Dry, sunny inland. Dry, windy and cold overnight. Look for highs of 6 to 9C.

 
 
 

Saturday 18/11/17
Cold with rain for Northern Ireland. Most areas will be dry and breezy with lots of sunshine. Cloudy overnight with a risk of gales in the south. Heavy rain sweeps into Britain overnight. Expect highs of 6 to 8C.

 
 
 

Sunday 19/11/17
It looks much milder and windy across England and Wales as rain clears the south. Scattered showers to affect eastern coasts, otherwise mostly sunny and dry. Expect highs of 5 to 15C.

Monday 20/11/17
Fine, dry and sunny to start the day with fog patches in the south. We may see a front spreading rain in across western parts of Britain with eastern areas dry until evening. Very windy in the north. Look for highs of 8 to 15C.
