Thursday
A misty and murky morning through much fro England and Wales. There will be periods of rain and drizzle in central and southern England, this heavier in the south and southeast. Spots of rain and showers affecting western coasts and hills, drier elsewhere with the best sunshine in northwest Scotland and western Ireland. The rain turns heavier and more persistent this afternoon across England and Wales, this bringing a risk of some localised flooding. Stying dry in Scotland and much of Ireland, again the best sunshine in the north. Highs at 6C in northern Scotland, 12C in England and Wales.


Thursday Night
Further spells of heavy rain spreading northwards during tonight. The rain heaviest in northern England and Scotland as well as in southeast England. Tending to be more showery to the west. Lows near a much milder 5 to 7C.

 
 
 


Friday
Low pressure north of Scotland on Friday. A front brings rain into southeast England, with a further area of rain probably affecting western Scotland. Drier in other areas with bright or sunny spells. The rain continues in western Scotland into thew afternoon with rain slowly clearing the southeast. Showers affecting western casts, although generally dry and bright for most. Highs at 6 to 10C.


Saturday
Areas of showers affecting eastern Ireland, west Wales and northwest England as well as southwest Scotland on Saturday morning. These moving into the rest of Scotland and northern England in the afternoon. A few showers too in southeast England. Low pressure moves into southern Ireland later bringing rain, and this rain turns heavy as it reaches west Wales and southwest England. Best of the conditions in the Midlands and parts of southern England as well as northern Scotland. Highs at 5 to 8C.
