Drier & warmer north
Some rain in south

Sunday
A ridge of high pressure affects most of Ireland and the northern half of the UK on Sunday. Dry conditions here with warm sunny spells developing. Meanwhile, low pressure over the near continent will bring cloud and longer spells of rain or heavier showers to southern England, potentially as far north as Cambridgeshire and south Wales with patchy rain affecting central Wales too. Highs at 17 to 23C.

Sunday Night
The rain continues to push northward overnight. Currently looking to affect much of Wales and as far north as Merseyside and Manchester but by this point only light bits and pieces. Rain clearing many southern areas of England but continue over the southwest. Largely dry further north and west with clear spells. Lows at 7 to 14C.

Monday
Rather a lot of cloud about on Monday across England and Wales with patchy rain across Wales into the Midlands region, possibly as far north as Manchester, and southwest England but drier across central and southern areas for a time before more rain pushes in here later. Largely dry elsewhere with good spells of sunshine for many. Highs generally between 19 and 25C but cooler in the cloud and rain further south.

Tuesday
Rain initially on Tuesday looking to be more widespread across central and southern England, pushing as far north as north Wales and Manchester once again. Rain looks to turn much lighter and patchier through the day across this area. Elsewhere, high pressure will bring a largely dry day with good sunny spells, although with the risk of a few developing showers across parts of Ireland as well as southern Scotland. Highs at 19 to 25C for most, but lower through central and southern England.
