Monday
A murky start to the day for many with some mist and low cloud. A few spits of drizzle over the hills of England, Wales and southern Scotland. It will become brighter through the morning with sunny spells, the best of them in Scotland, western England, west Wales and eastern Ireland. As the sun breaks through some scattered, heavy showers will form over eastern England. Always more cloud in the far west of Ireland, a few spots of drizzle here. Highs at 23C in sunshine in southern England, 17 to 20C elsewhere.

Monday Night
Coud clearing eastern areas of England and Scotland this evening. Further cloud affects western Ireland overnight with some spots of drizzle on the coasts. Similar for the Hebrides. Elsewhere the night should be dry with some clear spells, although a few mist and fog patches by the morning. Lows at 6 to 9C.
 

Tuesday
Mist and fog patches in many areas early on Tuesday morning. These will be clearing quickly to leave a dry day under a ridge of high pressure. There could be some low cloud drifting onto western and southwestern coasts. Inland it should be bright and dry with warm spells of sunshine. More cloud in western Scotland and western Ireland where a weakening front will also be bringing some outbreaks of rain and drizzle. Light winds and temperatures at 19 to 23C generally, although 14C in the western Ireland and far west of Ireland.

Wednesday
High pressure to the east on Monday with lower pressure to the west. Broken cloud and sunny spells for many in the morning. However, showers may quickly develop in central and southern parts of England and Wales. These spread and develop further north as the morning progresses, with the risk of some heavy and thundery showers into the afternoon. Tending to be drier in eastern Ireland and western parts of Scotland, Wales and southwest England, although some low cloud on coasts here. Highs at 18 to 23C.
