Sunday
A fair start to Sunday morning for most places. There will be good spells of sunshine, although there may be some morning cloud which will soon break and clear. The afternoon stays fair for most with more sunshine to come. Always the risk of thick cloud affecting northern and north western part of Scotland and this is going to be producing a few spots of rain and drizzle. Quite a damp day cross Shetland with rain on and off through the day. Ireland should be mostly dry with further spells of sunshine although there is the threat of some low cloud and drizzle affecting the far north western coast. A very warm day in southern England at 26 to 29C, widely 21 to 24C, but 16C in western Scotland.


Sunday Night
A front will be passing southwards to Scotland overnight into Monday. This will be bringing more clout and some outbreaks of rain, most of it to the north and west. The cloud and some showery rain may affect northern and western Ireland to. The rain could also reach northwest England, a few spots in north Wales later too. Scatter showers follow to northern and western Scotland in the early hours with eastern areas tending to be dry. Elsewhere it should be a dry night with some clear spells. Lows at 8 to 15C.


Monday
The remains of the week cold front will be across England and Wales on Monday. This will be bringing a fair amount of cloud and a low risk of an odd spot of rain across central and eastern areas. Generally though it is going to be dry, albeit rather cloudy with some bright spells. Generally brighter across central and eastern Scotland as well as north east England. A few showers affecting northern and western Scotland. Still warm in the far south of England at 28C, cooler across northern England, Scotland and Ireland at 13 to 18C.


Tuesday
High pressure remains over the British Isles on Tuesday. This should bring a dry day for most with good spells of sunshine, although there may be some low cloud affecting western coasts at times, a risk of some drizzle on hills. Thicker cloud in western Scotland and northwestern parts of Ireland with more persistent periods of rain here, some of it being heavy later. Highs at 24C in southern England, a cooler 13C in northwest Scotland, 21C in Ireland.
