Tuesday
Rather cloudy through the far southeast of England on Tuesday with a few spots of drizzle on the hills and coasts, although this fading into the afternoon. Much brighter across the southwest, Wales, Midlands and northern England as well as eastern Scotland with some decent spells of sunshine here. Cloud increases in Ireland and western Scotland with some patchy rain and drizzle as well as coastal mist and hill fog arriving in the far west of Scotland in the afternoon. Highs at 10C in northwest Scotland, 13C in northern parts of Ireland, 18C in southern Ireland, 21C in the sunshine in central, western and northern areas, but just 15C where it stays cloudier in the far southeast.

Tuesday Night
Cloudy tonight through East Anglia and the far southeast with a few spots of drizzle drifting onto the coasts here. Some clearer skies through southwest England, the Midlands, Wales and northern England. More cloud in Scotland, Ireland and the west of Wales. There will be some patchy rain in western Scotland and across much of Ireland, especially in the west. Lows at 6 to 10C.

Wednesday
Plenty of cloud to start the morning across parts of the Midlands, east Anglia and southern England on Wednesday, perhaps some spots of drizzle in the southeast. This cloud will break with some bright or sunny spells developing and then the day will be dry. Staying dry and bright in most of the Midlands and the rest of eastern England. Always more cloud in Scotland, western Wales, the far west of Cornwall and much of Ireland. A warm front may bring some drizzle or patchy rain to western coasts here, with cloud shrouding the hills too. Highs at a a muggy 22C in any sunshine in Ireland, 15C in western Scotland, 21 or 22C in sunny spels in the Midlands and eastern England.

Thursday
An area of low pressure is expected to be to the north of Scotland today. This is going to be bringing cloud and outbreaks of rain to northern Scotland. Some low cloud and drizzle will be affecting western and northern coasts of Ireland as well as the western and northwestern coasts of Wales and England. It should be a brighter and drier day across most of central and southern England. Highs at 16C in the cloudier west and north, but to 22C in southern England.
