Morning Call - April 02, 2020
Cool, few showers
Breezy north

Issued: 0530hrs Thursday 2nd April 2020
Duty forecaster: Simon Keeling

A bright start east and south, increasing cloud from the north bringing some showers

Good morning,

A fair start to the day in eastern, central and southern areas of the country. Some bright spells at first, but then cloud increasing in these areas during the day, some scattered showers breaking out in the afternoon.

Cloudier skies west and north with the risk of some showers affecting western and northern Scotland. Breezy in northern Scotland with the showers turning wintry on the hills. Some more persistent showers and rain could affect Northern Ireland and northwest England. Overnight it stays cool. Showers over western and northern coasts and hills, these generally well scattered. Drier elsewhere with clearer spells.
