Scattered showers in the southwest, mostly dry with some bright or sunny spells

Good morning,

Broken cloud this morning over much of Ireland and the west of the UK. A few patches of lower cloud in central and eastern England and Scotland too. Sunny elsewhere and dry. The cloud breaking further with sunny spells developing for most as the morning progresses.
 

Staying fair into this afternoon. There will be further spells of sunshine and it should be remaining dry. Always more cloud in Ireland and across Scotland, but even here there will be some sunny spells. Dry tonight with clear spells, although again some patchy cloud in the west and north.
