Patchy rain
Sunny spells

Issued: 0530hrs Sunday 26th April 2020
Duty forecaster: Claire Darbinyan

A rather mixed day across the UK and Ireland and feeling noticeably cooler over Scotland, Ireland and Northern Ireland. Outbreaks of patchy rain affect some while showers affect others. Best of the sun for southeastern England.

Good Morning,

A sunny start to the day for southeastern England. Elsewhere there will be varying amounts of cloud around while weak fronts bring patchy outbreaks of rain across Ireland and over the northern half of Scotland.

Showers develop through the late morning and into the afternoon across central and southern parts of England and Wales while a weak front brings light, patchy rain across northern England and southwest Ireland. The best of the sun stays to the far southeast of England.

Staying rather cloudy with patchy outbreaks of rain and showers across southern parts of Ireland and the UK though these tend to fade into the evening. Brighter over Scotland and Northern Ireland but with a scattering of showers over northern areas.

Have a good day!

Claire
