Wet Spain and Portugal, colder in northern Europe with some snow
Heavy rain is likely to affect southwestern Spain and southern Portugal. Showery in central and northern Spain, but drier in the east. Dry and fine for the Balearics, Sardinia and Corsica. Showery for western Italy, but mainly dry for southern Italy and Sicily. Showers affect the Adriatic coasts of the Balkans into western Greece, but much of the Greek islands will be dry.
France and the Low Countries should be mostly dry but rather cool. Areas of rain and hill snow for Germany. Showery too for the western Alps, perhaps locally frequent snowfalls. A few showers for Poland and Czechia. Snow flurries for Romania. Largely dry and cold across eastern Europe.
A zone of snow affects southern Sweden, perhaps rain near to the coasts. Possible showers for Denmark. Frequent snow for north-facing coasts in Norway. Dry but bitterly cold across northern Sweden and much of Finland, but some local snow around the northern Baltic.
It will be raining heavily across much of Portugal and southern Spain on Wednesday. Fair for eastern Spain, but some showers affecting the Balearics. Corsica and Sardinia should be dry. Cloudy across Italy with some rain in central areas but dry north and south. An unsettled day for Greece with outbreaks of rain at times. Some showers affecting southern parts of Turkey, but most of the country should be dry and cold.
France will have some showers in the south, but central and northern areas will be chilly but dry. Wintry showers affecting the Netherlands and much of Germany, but some sunny spells in between. Cold too in Poland with a mix of wintry showers and bright spells. Austria will be dry with some good smells of sunshine and similar weather is expected in Hungary. Switzerland two should be dry and sunny.
Sunny spells and scattered wintry showers for Denmark. Snow may affect the far east of Sweden, with wind and snow across the Baltic states and some heavy snowfall Finland. Further heavy snow showers affecting western parts of Norway, but drier to the south and east
