Wind and rain in northern Europe, fair with sunshine in the south, less cold for most

Wednesday
Showery rain in northwest Spain. Fair for most of Portugal and Spain with some good spells of sunshine. Scattered showers in the Balearics. Rain affects Corsica and northern Italy, but central and southern Italy will be dry and sunny. Greece will be dry too with lots of sunshine and it will be staying dry and sunny for Turkey.
Bright in France but more cloud in the west with a risk of some rain in the far northwest later. Cloud and some patchy rain in Germany with some more persistent rain and snow in Poland. Wet in Austria and Switzerland with snow turning to rain. Further rain in western Hungary but dry in the east.
Windy and wet through Denmark, milder too. Cloud and some outbreaks of sleet and snow in the Baltic States as well as Finland. Snow showers affecting western Norway.

Thursday
Fair for Spain and Portugal with good spells of sunshine here. More sunshine through the Balearics as well as Corsica and Sardinia. Italy has a few showers in the west but most areas are dry with sunny spells. Greece and Turkey will be dry and sunny.
Wind and some rain in northern and western France. The south of France should be dry and bright. Fair for the Low Countries. Some rain in eastern and southern Germany as well as Poland where it will be heavy. Fair for Hungary with sunny spells. A mainly fair day in Austria and Switzerland.
Some rain in Denmark. Breezy with a few showers in the Baltic States. Cloud and some rain in Finland. Showers and cloud in Sweden. Snow showers and cold in western and northern Norway.
