Rain for the Mediterranean, cold and snowy northern Europe
A much improved day across Iberia on Saturday with dry and fine conditions for many. Rain gradually clearing the Balearics. Staying windy and wet across much of Italy and the islands with heavy rain down the Balkans into mainland Greece. The Greek and Turkish islands looking mostly dry but rather cloudy and the risk of a shower or two.
Some rain affecting some far eastern regions of France again otherwise mostly dry with rather a lot of cloud about. Showers on to coasts of the Low Contries, otherwise staying dry. Outbreaks of rain and blustery winds for south Germany, drier further north. Dry but rather cloudy across Poland. Rain, sleet and snow for Austria and Switzerland.
Mostly dry across Norway, some snow flurries through parts of Sweden and Finland but many will remain dry. Though feeling bitterly cold, particularly in the strengthened wind. Some wintry showers on to Denmark but most again remaining dry.
Rain for much of southern and eastern Spain today. Fair in Portugal and northern Spain. The Balearics will be wet and cloudy with some showers or outbreaks of rain affecting much of Italy. Greece will have some heavy showers whilst heavy rain affects much of Turkey.
Rain, sleet and even some snow in northern France. Dry and sunny in central and southern France. Sleet and snow showers in the Low Countries. germany will have sunshine and scattered snow showers. Cold and snowy for Poland, blizzards in the east. Further snow in much of Hungary. Cold and bright in Switzerland and Hungary. Scattered wintry showers for Switzerland and Austria as well as being cold.
Sunny spells and cold for Denmark. Staying cold too in the Baltic States and windy here. Cold for Finland with a few snow showers. Further scattered snow showers in Sweden. Cold and dry with sunny spells for Norway.
