Mixed to unsettled weather next week. Milder for some further south.
Drier weather this weekend but rather chilly. Mixed to at times unsettled weather next week as spells of rain with strengthened winds move in on some days, perhaps though with a milder flow of air further south.

Monday 6/12/21 A band of rain moves in to far western areas first thing. Elsewhere starting with a touch of frost but dry. The rain turns heavy for a time in the west before easing off and pushing eastwards where it will be patchy. Highs at 4 to 9C though southwest England milder still.
Tuesday 7/12/21 A rapidly deepening area of low pressure moves in towards southwestern regions on Tuesday. It will bring strengthened winds and spells of heavy rain for a time as a front pushes northwards. Scotland will see a dry and fair morning before rain moves in later. Highs at 4 to 10C.
Wednesday 8/12/21 Wednesday continues to be windy as the area of low pressure circulates over the England and Wales. Outbreaks of rain across much of England, Wales and parts of Ireland. A drier day for Scotland and Northern Ireland. Highs of 5 to 9C.
Thursday 9/12/21 A brief ridge of high pressure brings a more settled day to most on Thursday, however, rain soon pushes in to far western regions. Highs of 5 to 9C for most though a milder flow looks to move in to some west and southwest areas.
Friday 10/12/21 A largely dry day on Friday though there does look to be showers in the west, these perhaps merging into longer spells of rain across the Highlands. Highs at 5 to 10C.
Saturday 11/12/21 A band of rain pushes in from the Atlantic on Saturday seeing heavy rain for a time before easing off with drier and brighter conditions behind. A windy day. Highs at 5 to 9C.
