Variable cloud in north
Dry and hot south

Sunday
Weak fronts crossing Scotland on Sunday, bringing cloudier skies and a few spots of rain across western regions of Scotland onwards over some central hills. Northern England may be rather cloudy too, again a few spots of rain over western facing high ground. Getting brighter across central and southern England, Wales and Ireland. Dry here with good spells of sunshine. Feeling warmer in southern area at 28C, but a cooler 15C in northern Scotland in the cloud.

Sunday Night
Overnight, always more cloud with the risk of a few spots of light rain/drizzle across northwestern regions and breezy here too. Otherwise dry with clear spells. Lows at 9 to 14C.

Monday
High pressure remains dominant across the British Isles on Monday. There will be a weak front close to northwest Scotland and this may bring some cloud and a few spots of rain, more so to the islands here. Overall though the day is dry with lengthy spells of sunshine for most. Highs could get to 30C in southern England, 23 to 28C for most and 17C in northwest Scotland.

Tuesday
Dry for most again through Tuesday with high pressure remaining. Best of the sunshine tending to be in southern and eastern areas. Patchy rain may affect northwest Scotland. Tops at 23 to 29C but as high as 31C in southern England.
