Monday
Coud to start the day over England and eastern Wales, a risk of a few showers in the east. These fade and then most places are dry with decent spells of sunshine developing as cloud breaks. Rain arrives in western Ireland mid-morning, this then spreading east and becoming heavy at times. The rain reaches western Scotland, northwest England and the northwest of Wales later this afternoon, then spread quickly across Scotland and northern England this evening. Remaining dry in central and southern England and Wales although cloud will be increasing. A very warm day in the southeast at 28C, but a cooler 16C in western Scotland.


Monday Night
Damp and breezy tonight as rain pushes through Scotland. Turning more showery here in the early hours. Cloud and damp in northern England, Wales, parts of the Midlands and southern Ireland with rain on and off, most in the west. Drier to the south. Mist and fog affecting western coasts and hills in England, Wales and Ireland. Lows near 12C in Scotland, 15C in southern England.


Tuesday
A broad southwest flow affecting the country through Tuesday with lower pressure being in control. There will be a front bringing rain through much of Wales and northern England as well as parts of the northern Midlands. Brighter spells i southern England where it should be staying dry. Scotland and Ireland will have broken cloud, the best sunshine for western and northern Ireland with some showers pover western and northern coasts. Further showers in the north and west of Scotland, some of these heavy, but drier in the east. Rather breezy for all. Highs at 16 to 22C in Scotland and Ireland, 21 to 28C in England and Wales.


Wednesday
A brisk northwesterly wind across the north on Wednesday will see blustery showers affect northern and western regions through Northern Ireland, Scotland and northern parts of England and Wales. A weak front across southern and southeastern counties will bring cloud and patchy light rain here for a time, although this should fade. Cool north and west at 16 to 18C, but warmer to the south and east with highs at 23 to 28C.
