Saturday
Saturday will start cloudy and misty for some with much of this soon lifting. With high pressure generally dominant it will be a mostly dry weather about with sunny spells, best of these further south. As the day progresses there is an increased risk of some showers developing anywhere through England, Wales into Scotland. Meanwhile, thicker cloud will affect much of Ireland, Northern Ireland and western regions of Scotland where patchy drizzle may affect these regions at times. Highs at 18 to 25C.


Saturday Night
Overnight, any showers will clear and it will be mostly dry, though still thicker cloud in the north and west with patchy drizzle affecting the far northwest of Ireland and the Western Isles. Mist and fog patches will develop widely across the country. Lows at 10 to 15C, perhaps down to single figures in a few northern rural spots.
 


Sunday
High pressure sits to the north of Scotland on Sunday. Any mist and fog will soon lift to see a mostly dry day though many places will see more cloud cover than on Saturday, and a continued risk of some isolated showers again developing. Patchy rain and drizzle easing across the far northwest of Scotland. Highs at 18 to 25C, feeling muggy for many, though an easterly wind could make it cooler along some eastern coasts.


Bank Holiday Monday
High pressure stays centred to the north of Scotland on Monday. A brisk easterly wind, originating from the far north, will keep the temperatures down in the north and east. Mostly dry with sunny spells, though showers looking to develop across west Scotland, northern parts of Ireland and Northern Ireland. Feeling cool in the north and east with highs here at 16 to 18C, warmer south and west at 20 to 24C.
