A wet morning across Ireland, western Scotland, Wales and west in England. Drier in eastern Scotland and the east of England although rather cloudy. An area of showery rain may affect South East England during the morning. The rain will be spreading eastwards across all parts of the country through the afternoon and is likely to become heavy at times with an increasing breeze. Turning drier in western and southern Ireland later.A cool day in the north and west at 10 to 12C, but milder to the southeast at 17C.

Wednesday Night
A wet night across much of Scotland and eastern England. Rain could be heavy at times. The rain should ease to the east, although remains in northern Scotland throughout the night. Drier weather arriving in southern England, although showers will be affecting western parts of Wales and England as well as western Ireland. Lows at a chilly 2C in Ireland, 6 to 99C for most.

Thursday
Low pressure over the UK nd Ireland will be bringing a day of bright or sunny spells and showers. Most of the showers over Ireland and the west and south of the UK. The showers could merge to longer spells of rain in southern Ireland and southwest England. A further area of heavier showers or rain may affect northeast Scotland. In between there will be some sunny spells and a scattering of showers developing. Highs at 11C in northern Scotland, 15C in southern England.

Friday
Cloud, rain and wind across much of central and southern England and Wales on Friday. The rain could be heavy at times, especially in the far south where there is a risk of some localised flooding. Some cloud and spots of rain affecting northeastern coasts of England. Drier and brighter for northwest England with plenty of sunshine over much of Scotland, northern and western Ireland. Rain and wind in southeastern Ireland too. A chilly day where exposed to the wind and cloud, highs at 11 to 14C.
