Friday
Broken cloud affecting western areas of Wales and England on Friday, the risk of a few spots of rain on hills. Central and eastern parts will be brighter with sunny spells and staying dry through the day. A front pushing south through Scotland as well as northern and western Ireland will be bringing cloud and outbreaks of rain, these most persistent in western Scotland. A breezy day across the country and windy across northern Scotland. Highs at 22C in the southeast, 15 to 18C elsewhere.

Friday Night
The front, weakening by this point, will push south over southern Ireland, northern England and into Wales bringing cloudier skies and patchy light rain. Dry with clear spells further south, while north and west Scotland as well as northwest Ireland will see outbreaks of rain. Chilly across central Scotland with lows at 4 to 5C here. Milder elsewhere over Scotland. Lows around 8 to 13C across England and Wales and between 7 to 11C across Ireland and Northern Ireland.

Saturday
A weak front will continue to sink south across England and Wales on Saturday bringing mainly cloudier skies as it passes through but also the risk of some patchy light rain. Dry with sunny spells otherwise. Meanwhile, it will be a windy day across Scotland, Northern Ireland and northern parts of Ireland with sunny spells and showers, some of these merging into longer spells of rain in the west. Cloud thickening over northwest Ireland through the afternoon before more persistent rain moves in later. A largely dry and fine day for southern Ireland. Highs at 21C in southeastern England, 15 to 18C for most other areas.

Sunday
An area of low pressure will track east across Scotland on Sunday. This brings the risk of some heavier periods of rain here, together with stronger winds. Further rain may affect northern and western Ireland. High pressure will bring dry and fine conditions in the south including eastern Ireland, most of England and Wales. Warm temperatures for most; highs at 24C in southern England, 23C in southern Ireland, 22C in eastern Scotland, 17C in northwest Scotland.
