A brisk east wind affecting southern parts of England and Wales on Saturday. Here there will be a fair amount of cloud, although it should be staying dry. Brighter skies towards the north with the best sunshine in northern England and Scotland as well as Northern Ireland. Little changes this afternoon with sunshine in Scotland and northern England as well as Northern Ireland. Cloud in southern Ireland and the south of England and Wales. Highs at 23C in the far south of England, 20C in northern Scotland.


Saturday Night
Breezy in southern England with broken cloud. There may be a few spots of rain in the far southeast. Dry for most areas with clear spells, although the risk of some cloud affecting eastern coasts. Thicker cloud in northwest Scotland with the chance of some drizzle here. Lows at a chilly 5C under clearer skies, more widely 6 to 9C.
 


Sunday
A ridge of high pressure extends through the UK and Ireland on Sunday. This is going to be bringing a fair day with sunny spells to many. There will be some cloud afecting southern coasts, but elsewhere once morning mist and fog patches have cleared it will be a fine day. Thicker cloud in central and northern Scotland as well as northwest Ireland. Temperatures at 23C in southern England, 15C in northern Scotland.


Monday
A weak ridge of high pressure affects southern and central parts of England on Monday. There will be lengthy spells of sunshine in central and southern parts of England and Wales. The sunshine turns more hazy over southern Ireland and northern England as high cloud increases and thickens. A front brings rain into northern and western Scotland in the afternoon, turning heavier in the northwest later. Highs at 21 to 24C in the sunshine to the south, a cooler 16 to 18C in the cloudier north.
