Sunday
A chilly start to the day with parts of Scotland seeing a touch of ground frost in places and possibly even some mist and fog patches. Plenty of sunshine during the day and mostly dry too. However, south eastern parts of England will again be troubled by some showers feeding in from the sea and it is here that it will be feeling coolest. Increased cloud across Ireland and Northern Ireland as well as much of Scotland bringing the threat of some patchy rain in the west later. Highs at 11 to 16C.

Sunday Night
Any rain lingering in the southeast will become confined to the coasts. Staying cloudy across the southeast quarter of England. Cloudy too for much of Scotland, western Ireland and Northern Ireland as rain spreads in from the west. Dry with some clear spells elsewhere but with generally more cloud about temperatures will be cool but not as cool as of late. Lows generally between 3-9C. Milder in the west at 10-14C.

Monday
A cool start for central and eastern areas but a relatively milder air will have moved into the west. Staying largely dry for eastern areas of the UK but wet in the west as a weak front pushes across. Patchy outbreaks of rain are expected across parts of Ireland and Northern Ireland but clearing here first thing with sunny spells and showers behind. Rain affecting western Scotland as well as Wales and western parts of England throughout the day. Not as cold as of late with highs at 13 to 17C.

Tuesday
A ridge of high pressure builds across the British Isles during Tuesday allowing for a largely dry and fine day. Although cloud will be thicker across western Ireland, Northern Ireland and west Scotland as patchy outbreaks of light rain move into these areas through the day. Southerly winds will also strengthen along coasts. Feeling mild in the southeast with highs here at 18C but cooler further north with highs at 14C in Scotland and northern England.
