Chance of a shower south-west
Good morning,
High pressure resides over northern Britain, whilst low pressure is over France. Generally fair across the British Isles with a good amount of sunshine.
Risk of scattered thunderstorms toward the far south-west of England and the Channel Islands, but most places will avoid these.
Eastern Scotland may remain cloudy as a weak cold front lingers here, accompanied by an onshore breeze from the North Sea.
An easterly breeze for central and southern Britain, fresh around coasts. Light winds for Highland Scotland.
Today's top temperatures will be 24 to 27C in central-southern England, and also north-western areas near Manchester. Around 20 to 23C in western Scotland, but eastern Scotland and north-east England will be cooler at 15 to 18C.
Have a great day. Garry
