Scattered showers this week, dry for the weekend, remaining warm
Despite the week being dominated by dry weather there will be some showers for a few of us. These mostly occur throughout the working week, mainly as isolated thunderstorms. Towards the weekend pressure becomes higher again allowing for dry weather for all with some good spells of sunshine. Warm throughout.

Thursday 5/7/18 A weak cold front brings cloud to northern and western Scotland and western Ireland on Thursday, this perhaps triggering scattered showers on hills. For the rest of the UK and Ireland the morning will be dry with sunny spells. Some showers are likely to be forming in the afternoon as a shallow area of low pressure passes through Wales and England. The showers could be heavy and thundery, although again these are likely to be scattered. Highs at 23 to 27C for most.

Saturday 7/7/18 Pressure stays high on Saturday. This brings plenty of fair conditions with good spells of sunshine. Some weak fronts may pass close to northwest Scotland bringing cloud here. A scattering of heavy showers developing in central and northern England as wel as central Ireland and Scotland. Highs at a warmer 23 to 28C.
Sunday 8/7/18 A fair day again as high pressure remains in control of conditions. It should be dry with some good spells of sunshine throughout the day. Sea breezes develop in the afternoon making the coasts cooler, but very warm for most at 23 to 28C.
Monday 9/7/18 High pressure is expected to build back over the UK and Ireland on Monday. This birngs another fine day with lots of sunshine. Highs at 22 to 28C.
