Morning Call - April 05, 2017
Cloudy for many
Brighter to south

Issued: 0530hrs Wednesday 5th April 2017
Duty forecaster: Simon Keeling

Some sunshine in the south but lots of cloud overall

Good morning,

A fine start to this morning in southern Ireland, southern Wales and southern England. High pressure is still in control of the weather so there will be plenty of dry weather around. Thicker cloud over northern England, north Wales, Northern Ireland and much of Scotland with a few spots of rain on northwest facing slopes. Northeast Scotland should be brighter with sunny spells.

During this afternoon cloud is going to be edging southwards with sunshine in short supply. Probably southwest England and southern Ireland stay with the best of the sunshine. A few spots of rain in western areas once again. Bright in northeast Scotland.

Rather cloudy overnight but dry for most. Western slopes and coasts could again see a few spots of drizzle.
