Morning Call - April 27, 2017
Patchy rain spreading south
Feeling cool

Issued: 0530hrs Thursday 27th April 2017
Duty forecaster: Garry Nicholson

Early sunshine in the south

Good morning,

Low pressure is over the North Sea, maintaining a north to north-westerly flow across the British Isles today. Weak fronts drift southwards across Britain, bringing a little rain or drizzle. High pressure lies to the west over the Atlantic.

Expect fairly cloudy skies for most places, although southern counties should see early sunshine before cloud thickens from the north. Patchy rain for northern Britain will tend to drift south through the day, although amounts will be small.

It will feel cool in a north-westerly breeze, which will be strongest for northern & eastern regions.

Top temperatures will reach 10 to 13C, warmest where sheltered to the south of any high ground.

Have a great day!
Garry
