Morning Call - April 25, 2017
Feeling like winter
Heavy April showers

Biting northerly winds, some sunshine

Good morning,

A bitterly cold northerly pattern influences the British Isles today. High pressure is centred to the north-west of the UK, and low pressure is over southern Sweden.

Heavy showers will affect most areas, spreading from the north, and breaking out increasingly through the day. Expect hail and thunder, possible snow over the hills.

Away from showers, there will be periods of bright sunshine, best in south in the morning. The air very clear.

Temperatures will be well below average for late April, only reaching 6C in northern Scotland, and 9 or 10C for southern England, but feeling closer to freezing where exposed to the wind, and dropping several degrees during showers.

Grab the thermals, and have a great day!
Garry
