Snow showers on Scottish mountains

Good morning,

Low pressure lies to the north-east of Britain, whilst high pressure is to the south-west. A cold front will drift gradually southwards across the country, bringing outbreaks of rain, mainly affecting north-west England & Wales.

A few showers for Scotland and Northern Ireland. Over the Highlands, these will fall as snow to quite low levels. Staying dry for southern England with hazy sun around the south coast.

A west to north-westerly breeze, strongest in northern Britain, where it will feel distinctly chilly.

Today's top temperatures will be just 8 to 10C in the north & north-west, around 12C in the north-east, and up to 14 or 15C for central-southern areas.

Have a great day.
Garry
