Morning Call - April 18, 2017
Dry and sunny
Feeling chilly

Frosty again tonight

Good morning,

High pressure extends broadly across the British Isles and Scandinavia, with a cold north-easterly flow across south-eastern Britain and northern Europe, whilst a south-westerly flow and weak fronts nudge into the far north-west of Scotland.

Dry with plenty of sunshine for most places, although fair weather cloud will tend to fill in through the day.

Risk local light showers of soft hail for coasts of East Anglia. Thickening cloud brings drizzly rain to north-west Scotland.

After a cold and frosty start for some, temperatures will only reach 7 or 8C along North Sea coasts, around 10 or 11C inland, and up to 13 or 14C in sheltered spots toward south-west England & west Wales.

There will be a widespread hard frost tonight across England & Wales, with temperatures -2C or below in some rural areas.

Have a great day.
Garry
