Patchy rain mainly north-west
Good morning,
High pressure lies to the south-west of the British Isles, whilst low pressure is to the north-west, and also over Scandinavia. A west to north-westerly breeze influences the country.
Fair weather for many today, with sunny spells, generally best in the morning across central and eastern areas, then tending to cloud over from the west.
Weak fronts moving into north-west bring patchy rain to western Scotland and Ireland. Elsewhere, essentially dry, although a few spots of rain are possible on many western coasts and hills.
Feeling cool, today's top temperatures will be just 9 or 10C in the north-west, up to 12 or 13C in the south-east.
Have a great day. Garry
