Monday
A fine start to the week across much of Scotland, northern and eastern England; plenty of sunshine here, although chilly early on. More cloud in Wales, southwest England and Ireland thanks to the proximity of a weak front. This brings outbreaks of mostly light rain to hills. Little changes into this afternoon with most of Ireland, Wales and southwest England being cloudy with some patchy rain in the west and on hills. Staying fine for Scotland, northern, central and eastern England with good spells of sunshine. Highs at 13 to 18C.


Monday Night
Cloud and patchy rain over the whole of the island of Ireland on Monday night. For the UK there will be clear spells and broken cloud. It should be staying dry though. Lows at 3 to 7C.

 
 
 


Tuesday
Weak fronts bringing cloud and some patchy rain across Ireland on Tuesday. Cloudy skies in much of the western UK with patchy drizzle on hills, but mostly dry. Eastern and central areas of England as well as much of central and eastern Scotland should be brighter under a weak ridge of high pressure, although cloud may increase later. Temperatures at 14C in Ireland, 21C in the sunshine in eastern England and Scotland.


Wednesday
A cold front moves eastwards through the country on Wednesday. This is going to be bringing showery rain with it, a few heavier bursts in places and perhaps even an odd crack of thunder. Turning brighter in the west with sunny spells but although the risk of some showers in Ireland. Temperatures at a mild 20C in southeast England, but a cooler 12 to 14C in the west.
