Dry North and West
Showery Elsewhere

Issued: 0530hrs Sunday 29th April 2018
Duty forecaster: Matthew Hugo

A cool or rather chilly day is forecast across many areas, but with plenty of sunny spells in the north and west

Good morning,

It's a cold start to Sunday across the countryside of N England, Scotland and Ireland with a fairly widespread frost, it is cloudier and damp though across most of England and Wales. Through Sunday morning and dry weather will dominate across most of Scotland, Ireland and N England, with the exception of a few showers, with plenty of sunny spells. Cloudier conditions continue though across England and Wales with a developing and chilly NE'ly breeze.

Into Sunday evening and overnight and the emphasis is on increasingly wet and very windy conditions developing across SE England with particularly inclement conditions arriving here. Elsewhere, but especially across N England, Scotland and Ireland Sunday night will be dry with clear spells and another chilly night too with frost in the north and west.

Matthew
