Wednesday 16/6/21
A front is going to be through Scotland and eastern Ireland on Wednesday bringing cloud and some patchy rain here. Brighter, fresher weather follows into western Ireland and northwest Scotland during the day. Sunny spells and dry for most of England and Wales, the best sunshine in the east. Feeling increasingly muggy in England and Wales too as cloud increases in the west and south. An area of thundery rain will be reaching southern England and southern Wales in the evening, spreading north overnight. Highs could reach 30C in southeast England, widely 24 to 27C, but a much fresher 16 to 18C in Scotland, Ireland, northwest England and west Wales.

Thursday 17/6/21
High pressure to the west of Ireland, low pressure over the eastern parts of England and affecting most of the British Isles. This brings a muggy, damp day with thundery outbreaks of rain, mainly in the south and east. Misty and murky in places too. Ireland and western areas of England, Wales and Scotland will be fresher and brighter. Highs at 23C in the far southeast of England, more widely 14 to 18C.

Friday 18/6/21
Some further outbreaks of thundery rain on Friday across southern, central and eastern parts of England and Wales. Higher pressure in Scotland and Ireland will be bringing drier, brighter weather here, with this drier weather over most of northern England and northern parts of Ireland too. Highs near 15C to 19C.

Saturday 19/6/21
Fronts in western areas on Saturday bringing cloud and some outbreaks of rain here. More eastern parts are likely to be drier with broken cloud and some sunny spells, although there is also a risk of a few showers. Highs at 16C in Ireland, 22C in southeast England.

Sunday 20/6/21
More thundery rain may affect many central, southern and eastern areas of England and Wales on Sunday. Probably brighter in Ireland and Scotland, Wales and northwest England. Temperatures at 15 to 20C.

Monday 21/6/21
A front may remain in eastern parts of the country through Monday. This could allow for some outbreaks of thundery showers and rain. Tending to be brighter and drier in the west. Highs at 16 to 22C.
