Largely dry and warm for southern areas next week. Cloudier with patchy rain further north.

After a mixed end of the week, the high pressure ridge looks to hold on to southern parts of England next week giving a number of dry, fine and warm days here. Further north and west there does look to be more in the way of cloud and some patchy rain at times.

Saturday 5/6/21
Higher pressure ridges up from the Azores on Saturday and brings largely dry and fine conditions to much of southern, central and eastern parts of England. Meanwhile, a weakened front in the west will bring cloudier skies and patchy rain to the north and west of the UK. Ireland looks to stay largely dry with some sunny spells. There is the chance of some thundery rain affecting the far southeast of England, although confidence in this is still low at this time. Highs at 17 to 25C.


Sunday 6/6/21
The ridge of higher pressure remains across the country on Sunday giving some sunny spells. Cloud for a time with some patchy light rain as a weakened front passes southeast across Scotland and then England through the day. Thicker cloud and some rain looking like to push in to western Scotland, Northern Ireland and northwest Ireland later. Highs at 16 to 25C.
 


Monday 7/6/21
Pressure remains high across southern areas of England through Monday bringing dry, fine and warm conditions here. Further north and west a front will push in bringing cloudier skies and spells of rain. The rain will turn light and patchy as it tracks eastwards. Highs at 17 to 26C.

Tuesday 8/6/21
Another dry, fine and warm day across central and southern parts of England, however, further north and west there will be cloudy skies with patchy rain. The rain could be heavy at times across western parts of Scotland first thing. Highs at 17 to 24C.

Wednesday 9/6/21
Once again a largely dry, fine and warm day for central and southern England, however, elsewhere there will continue to be more in the way of cloud about with outbreaks of rain. Rain mostly light and patchy, although northern and western Scotland will see heavier bursts at times. Highs at 16 to 23C.

Thursday 10/6/21
A largely dry day for all as high pressure currently looks to win out on Thursday. Sunny spells about but cloudier skies expected across northern and western Scotland as well as western parts of Ireland once again. Patchy rain is also possible here. Highs at 17 to 24C.
