Tuesday One area of low pressure clears to the north while another moves in from the southwest on Tuesday. Showery outbreaks of rain for northern Scotland. Heavy rain to the southwest first thing spreading across much of Ireland, Wales, England, Northern Ireland and southern Scotland through the day. Highs at 8 to 12C.
Wednesday Low pressure is over the UK and Ireland again on Wednesday. Rain and strong winds, probably most rain over Scotland and northern England. More southern areas should be drier with some bright or sunny spells. Breezy to the west, north and south; coastal gales possible. High temperatures at 8 to 12C.
