Low pressure remains in control of the weather through Monday. It will be breezy and there will be heavy showers spreading to all areas. These may be particularly heavy over central parts of England. Perhaps drier to the southwest later with broken cloud. Brighter spells here too. High temperatures at 7 to 13C.
 


Monday Night
Showery rain clears to the north, affecting Scotland through much of the night, while another are of heavy rain moves into southern Ireland and the southwest UK. Drier over northern and central parts of England. A cloudy and mild night for most with overnight lows at 5 to 9C.
 


Tuesday
One area of low pressure clears to the north while another moves in from the southwest on Tuesday. Showery outbreaks of rain for northern Scotland. Heavy rain to the southwest first thing spreading across much of Ireland, Wales, England, Northern Ireland and southern Scotland through the day. Highs at 8 to 12C.
 


Wednesday
Low pressure is over the UK and Ireland again on Wednesday. Rain and strong winds, probably most rain over Scotland and northern England. More southern areas should be drier with some bright or sunny spells. Breezy to the west, north and south; coastal gales possible. High temperatures at 8 to 12C.
